Whitmore adapts to life as a retired racehorse

That is the primary summer time Whitmore has not been a racehorse since 2016.

Now 9, gelding, owned by Robert LaPenta, Ron Moquett, and Head of Plains Companions, is in Louisville, Ky., adjusting to life as a retiree.

“He loves having one thing to do,” stated Moquett, who has coached Whitmore together with his spouse, Laura. “He’s not a horse that may be tremendous with out grazing. He desires a job.”

So long as Whitmore can, he’ll spend his days with the Moquetts.
